The hiring company is an European IT consultancy company with offices in Germany and Romania. They provide IT services in the areas of development, quality assurance, support and consulting. The staff of highly qualified professionals covers all aspects of state-of-the-art technologies in object oriented and web centered environments.
What you will have to do:
Besides implementing interactive Web Applications and screen designs using modern front-end technologies, a software developer for this position will be responsible for the preparation of requirement analysis and will accompany the project, create the technical concepts and carry out effort estimates.
He or she will be part of existing teams working on current and future software products and will actively communicate with the customer’s technical contact partner.
It's mandatory to have:
Several years of web development background
Relevant work experience with TYPO3 or Symphony CMS
Strong HTML and CSS knowledge
Good programming skills with at least one of the following languages: JavaScript, PHP, Ruby
A plus could be:
Relevant work experience with jQuery, AJAX, JSON
Knowhow regarding frontend-technologies, Web Standards, Mobile, etc.
Extensive experience with all major Web browsers and their compatibility problems
Knowledge of tools like SVN and frontend testing tools (Selenium)
Working experience in agile development projects (Scrum and Kanban)
Soft skills & personality:
Good communication skills and team mentoring skills, able to work under pressure, flexible and constructive when it comes to change requests from customers

You bring a high degree of motivation, commitment, and flexibility to complete your profile
Other:
Fluent in English (good German skills are a plus)
