Develop moulding appropriate concepts, specify tooling requirements, to develop suppliers and to project manage the tool program
Study the part requirements, equipment capability, market constraints in order to select the most suitable moulding requirement, taking account of cost, quality, material and environment
Prepare the tool specification taking into account previous lessons learnt, quality inputs and machine requirements. Establish the criteria for acceptance of the finished tool
Work in conjunction with the project team to review project requirements, timing, and to select the most suitable clients. Participate with purchasing to make the final selection and contract
Work in conjunction with process/production team to improve tool problems on existing tools. Assist with spare part listing and support the tool maintenance function to improve performance
Technical University (Mechanics)
At least 2 years in tool development and manufacturing.
Knowledge of Tool Design and Manufacture techniques.
Knowledge of Injection moulding process.
Knowledge of Resin Materials.
Knowledge of Engineering drawings and documentation.
Team player, flexibility.
Microsoft office, Autocad & 3 D-soft.
English-Advanced.
