The successful candidate for the position, who will join our management team, must be confident goal oriented self-starter with the drive to succeed, willing to make a "long-term" commitment - no career-jumper.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop, motivate and coordinate the production team according with the personnel scheme.
- Plan details of production activity in terms of output quality and quantity, cost, time available and labour requirements.
- Review the schedules and production orders to make decisions concerning production priorities, duty assignments, material requirements
- Manage all available resources (human, equipment, materials, etc.) to efficiently comply with production targets
- Set and monitor product standards, examining samples of blanks or directing testing during assembly, to ensure finished products are of prescribed quality
- Develop the production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, maintenance to detect production problems
- Optimization of production organization and of manufacturing costs.
- Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records.
- Evaluate the needs and recruit manufacturing employees.
- Ensure that all operators follow the safety and production procedures implemented in the plant.
- Continuous improvement and modernization of production processes.
- Liaising with other organizational units in the company.
- Creating the environment for innovations and development, as well as implementation of new technologies.
Main Requirements:
- University degree – technical engineering, industrial management.
- Possess proven successful managerial experience at least 5 year in an appropriate role.
- Good working knowledge of Windows, MS Office and ERP system.
- Fluency in English; French is a strong bonus.
- Knowledge of management principles (project planning, production methods, resource allocation, etc.)
- Experience in strategic production management, knowledge of modern methods and tools of production management (lean manufacturing, 6 sigma principle, TPS).
- Experience in management of large teams of employees.
- Team builder and motivating and organizational skills.
- Experience in multinational companies is a strong point.
- Good capabilities of understanding of production processes and requirements.
- Good knowledge of environmental and Health & Security legislation is a plus.
- Easily manage documentation and reporting.
- Proactive and problem solving attitude under stress condition.
- Dynamic and independent person with excellent sense of responsibility and initiative.
