Actively manage all aspects of the Inbound supply chain environment, to ensure cost effectiveness while satisfying requirements
Respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations
Assist in the development of long-term material acquisition plans, including: supplier development, contracting strategies, inventory management, cost management, quality improvement, procurement systems, measurements, and market access programs
Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems.
Coordinate the delivery for critical parts.
Follow up emergency plan with Supply management, design department, engineering community and Quality
Calculate cost impact in case of claim follow up the cost recovery with the supplier
Identify and solve stock differences and belt -stop risks
University Degree- preferably Technical studies
At least 4 years experience as senior or strategic buyer in electronics industries
Very good knowledge of the electronics market and industry
Applicable laws, rules, regulations and/or policies and procedures
MRP/ERP soft knowledge.
Computer proficiency
Good numerical abilities
