We are delighted to be recruiting staff to manage a young community based client in the areas of UK.
Driving part of the role
The client ideally we are looking for a mix of female and male carers who have caring experience and are willing to commit to at least 40 hours per week - more hours are available for the right candidates.
Essential criteria :
Recent community based caring experience or care work
Moving and handling experience
FULL TRAINING given beforehands
Experience of caring for a young client
Motivated carer willing to learn new skills

Main duties/responsibilities -
To assist service users who needs help with all personal care
To help service users with all transfers and mobility when required and other physical disabilities including incontinence and to help in the use of and care of aids and personal equipment
To care for the service users when they are unwell and to provide assistance as needed, for example, minor dressing, bed nursing etc
To help care for service users who require palliative care and require support and TLC
To make and change beds
To help in the promotion of mental and physical activity of service users through talking to them, taking them out, sharing with them in activities such as reading, writing Hobbies and recreations
To inspect, launder and mend service users clothing
To set up tables and trays, serve meals, assist service users who needs support while eating and clear the dining room
To answer call bells, the door and the telephone and welcome visitors
To conduct all procedures within the Home with due regard to the food hygiene and health and safety legislation
To take part in staff and service users meetings and training activities as directed
To conduct themselves in a professional manner, to maintain confidentiality Be loyal to and uphold the good name of the home
We are also looking for Care Assistant ( Nights )
Purpose of the role and main duties
To provide wakeful night duty cover in the home reporting to the senior carer/manager
To receive daily instructions from the manager / senior carer
regarding care and specific tasks to be carried out during the night
To carry out regular checks on residents at intervals determined by the manager
