Leads the finance function as a senior management team member for Romania; - Assuming responsibilities for statutory accounting;
Drives transparent financial and business analysis to support the Country Manager in managing the operations in Romania;
Interfaces with all elements of the business to ensure optimum service provision to the customers;
Prepares business and financial analyses to support local management achieving sales targets, monitoring operating expenses and meeting set profit targets;
Addresses and intervenes on business and financial anomalies with local and group management;
Liaises with external consultants: tax, auditors to ensure full compliance;
Ensures standards and policies are in place and in accordance with the Group Operating Manual;
Responsible for driving down and controlling country specific working capital;
Drives the annual Budget Process, coordinating the country specific assumptions and strategy, collecting input form the different departments and providing the business with the appropriate financial support of the plan.
University degree in finance or similar education;
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar or comparable role;
Experience in a production company or in the agricultural field is required;
Hands-on mentality;
Strong focus on operational excellence;
Strong communication skills, with good proficiency in English;
Well developed analytical skills;
Drive to take initiative;
Strong character able to challenge and support the country manager;
Proven experience in working under strict deadlines, prioritize workload and adapt to changing priorities;
Strong organization, time management and task prioritization skills;
Excellent analytical skills;
Good command of Microsoft Office, experience with an ERP is a plus;
Availability to relocate or commute to Alexandria.
