E.ON IT GmbH is the IT service provider of the E.ON AG, one of the largest private power and gas companies in the world. E.ON IT handles all IT matters for the E.ON Group. The company is headquartered in Hanover and is represented across Europe by ten subsidiaries in Bulgaria, the United Kingdom, Italy, the Netherlands, Romania, Russia, Sweden, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Hungary.

E.ON IT Romania was founded in December 2005 as an IT partner for the two E.ON companies in Romania : E.ON Moldova – electricity company and E.ON Gaz Romania –gas company. With its headquarter in Iasi, in the North-Eastern part of Romania, E.ON IT Romania main goal is to become the IT partner for the whole Romanian E.ON Group.
