Material Supply Manager. Romania Haircare manufacturing site.
This is an entry-level management position for a prospected greenfield production facility in project phase which will be located in Urlati (65 km north of Bucharest).
The Material Supply Manager (MSM) will be a key player for succesful start-up of the plant.
Key focus areas:
1- Lead raw materials localization projects. Coordination of multifunctional team effort (purchasing, technical support, logistics).
2- Recruit, train and coach MSM team
3- Support the plant SAP implementation
4- Develop service agreements with suppliers for efficient start-up
5- Develop MSM capability for the new site
6- Identify with purchasing further localization potential in the raw materials area
Project management. Given the size of the project, managing the multifunctional team for localization projects will be highly challenging
The MSM should be able to drive action, conflict resolution and alignment of the multifunctional team
The MSM will interact with many different functions, levels and nationalities spread across EMEA and last but not least with suppliers
Logistic and/or planning experience is a must, ideally material supply planning
