Experience Level 5-10 / Education Level Bachelors Degree Enterprise Data & Services is looking for a senior database specialist, with experience in DB2 running on a Linux platform, to join its Enterprise Data Architecture team for fixed term (12 months). The successful candidate will take responsibility for the complete lifecycle of database development including analysis, data modeling, database architecture and design, development, unit testing, change management, deployment and environment management . A sound understanding of relational and dimensional modeling and the ability to document and communicate designs through technical documentation and other written and verbal communication. A proven track record in database design, development and performance optimization of large databases is required with ability in all aspects of the SDLC, including source control, testing, change management and deployment.
Skills Required:
- Must have minimum 5+ years of experience on large DB2 environments
- Relational and/or dimensional modeling
- Performance tuning and optimization of large databases
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
