The Multimedia Engineering Software Developer shall participate in the creation and modification of software elements related to multimedia and videoconferencing products used globally. The position is remote, full time, and reports to the UCC Multimedia Engineering Manager.
The primary focus of this role is the development of the software related to communication between customer infrastructure, application and database servers and multimedia devices. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: research and development, programming, validation testing, performance analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation. Tier III escalation and support for operational issues related to software engineering. Additional tasks, as assigned.
Skills Required :
- Minimum five years of software development
- C#, Perl, Java, XML and Microsoft SQL
- Software development in a similar enterprise-scaled environment Desired Skills and Work Experience

- Videoconferencing-related software development
- Call policy scripting
- Cisco video infrastructure (VCS gatekeeper and Call Manager)
- Experience with firewall communication and implementing related security processes

- Internet routing and services (DNS, www, etc)
- Experience with developing enterprise-grade monitoring tools
- Streaming technology software development
- Adobe Air
- Experience working in the Morgan Stanley Technology Environment
Education : Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, electrical engineering, computer engineer or a related field
