MAIN PURPOSE:
Participate to the full System Integration/Validation Phase in Light Radio Solutions. Based on system specifications analysis, the goal of this activity is to validate all the system behavior: configuration management, software replacement, extension/reduction/reconfiguration of the network, specific O&M and telecom features.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analysis of system specifications
Participation to final integration test phase at sub-system level with different development centers
Preparation of test plan and test description
Preparation of tools and tests scenarios
Run tests on dedicated test beds on real configuration
Work "upstream" in partnership with design and other system integration/validation engineers to review designs and plans, recommend enhancements, and otherwise improve product quality before it reaches customer.
Work hands-on with a new technology in a dynamic environment to solve technically challenging SW problems (HW as well sometimes) in a highly competitive market environment.
Results analysis; description of fault reports; feedback with designers; tests of corrections
Management of fault reports coming from customer during maintenance phase
Field support given during First-Offs, acceptances
Validation of methods (installation, commissioning) with method team
Validation of customer documentation
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Technical experience of 3 years in domain
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science or Information Technologies
Knowledge of telecom protocols, IP and networking
Basic knowledge in software technology: basic tools on PC, Unix/Linux
Languages: English (read, write, speak)
PERSONAL QUALITIES REQUIRED:
Needs good communication and team spirit, due to the links between all the different teams from specifications to designers and final customers
Positive, open, solution-oriented attitude and a desire to take on challenging assignments as part of a team
Experience in radio feature test, system/cluster level test, network level test, or FOA test, including test planning, design, coordination
Familiarity/experience with test/debug of IP-based networked configurations, and Linux/VxWorks-based products is desirable
Ability to find creative, out-of-the-box solutions to new, unknown problems within a short time and under a certain amount of pressure
Ability to effectively juggle with and correctly prioritize multiple tasks
Adaptability to changing environment and new requests
