The Windows Server Administrator is an individual contributor position, responsible for providing IT services as it pertains to Regional IT Support. As a member of a team or working independently, he/ she performs a technical role in the support of the solution construction, implementation and system integration.
The ideal candidate should have:
- bachelor\\\'s degree or equivalent experience
- at least one MCP certifications
- advanced level operating system management: file management, services, system tools, shell scripts- Windows 200, Windows NT
- Office automation software: word processors, spreadsheets, databases, graphic packages
- introductory level operating system management: file management, services, system tools, shell scripts- Solaris, Linux
-data communication priciples, practices and restrictions: IP, LAN, Wide Area Network, firewalls
- scripting language: Perl, VBS script, KixTart
