Definition: VALUE STREAM: All the actions, both Value creating and Non-Value creating, required to bring a product from concept to launch and from order to delivery. These include actions to process information from the customer and actions to transform the product on its way to the customer.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:
- Manage resources to achieve Transformation Cost targets
- Achieve required Output Linearity to meet customer needs
- Achieve and continually improve, targeted product and process Yield metrics
- Drive and own the Lean/6 Sigma behaviour and actions within the Value Stream
- Ensure that the Value Stream implements and adheres to the Site Governance Process
- Responsible for meeting customer Quality requirements
- 3+ years experience in production/ engineering/ materials/ etc - in a high volume/ mix batch manufacturing environment - ideally electronics or electro-mechanical products
- Demonstrates strong process management skills/methodologies and logical and process-driven approach
- Demonstrates highly developed analytical skills
- Excellent reasoning ability - to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Customer passion - demonstrates and drives others to listen to, interpret, and exceed customers' expectations - internal and external
- Problem-solving role model - solves problems with intangible factors in creative and effective ways -executes/drives resolution of critical issues through effective application of best practices - can work on multiple, complex problems requiring evaluation of several variables within the Value Stream
- Fluent verbal/written English is a must
- Leadership personality - role model, standard-setter, coach, motivator - clear vision, challenges status quo
- Strong listening, communication and influencing skills ¿ verbal, written and formal
- Computer literate ¿ MS Office, ERP systems, manufacturing control systems, etc
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field subject
- Good appreciation of LeanSigma methodology, and can demonstrate application of similar thinking/tools - ideally black belt trained
- Ideally experience within electronics manufacturing - SMT and final product assembly/test
- Ideally experienced Manufacturing Process or Work Methods Engineer within a high volume/mix electro-mechanical manufacturing environment
