RESPONSABILITATI

Installing, configuring and maintaining terminals, scales, bar code scanners and label printers from the shop floor area as part of a larger Manufacturing Execution System.
Control or monitoring screens for MES software, Human Machine Interfaces and PLC¿s that will be used in data acquisition or manage projects of this type.
Continuously audit production reporting, and other critical systems to ensure minimum downtime and maximum reliability.
Regular Preventative maintenance visits on-site.
Operational training of customers and daily maintenance of equipments.
Assist in developing data acquisition pilot projects and carrying out performance tests on it and interpreting results.
Perform research and investigation of equipment failures or other chronic problems in order to develop and recommend solutions concerning plant equipment controls.
Assist in reviewing specifications of control equipment to ensure standardization and future support. He/She would also make recommendations concerning the equipment acceptance.
Document and report quality issues.
Keep abreast of processing plant engineering techniques and technologies, research and develop the expansion of control systems, with emphasis on economy and service
Must possess the human relations skills to communicate properly with Automation Technicians and IT Administrators to help them develop the skills needed for their continued support of these types of systems.


CERINTE

Electronics/electrics qualifications or background.
Graduated high school or more.
- At least 3 years of field experience preferably in the food industry
- Experience in computer based equipment and process equipment.
- Self motivated and ability to multitask.
- Good command of English.
- Communications and human relations skills needed to perform the job.
- Working knowledge of barcode and labeling systems.
- Comprehension of complex electrical and electronic wiring diagrams and control schematics.
- Routinely working in cold environments.
- Ready to work flexible hours.
- Working knowledge of PLC¿s, ladder logic, and associated hardware will be a plus.
