RESPONSABILITATI

Description of the activity:

- Providing high level Product and System Technical Support for WIMAX releases of Alcatel-Lucent to the Regional Technical Assistance Centers - RTACs in order to analyse the Problem Reports (Fault Reports) coming from the different customers.
- Managing field feedback on product (WIMAX releases) performance.
- Supporting First Off Acceptance (FOA) of new products (WIMAX releases)
-Providing timely resolution of customer problem reports, in line with the commercial agreements between our company and the end customer.
- Solving problem reported by Alcatel-Lucent field engineers.
- Providing 24/7 support worldwide to the Regional Technical Assistance Centers.

In order to perform the above mentioned missions the TEC team groups high level technical system experts. The TEC team gives its technical support to the other Post-sales department teams (mainly Network Engineering and First Off Acceptance)inside Wireless Business Group of Alcatel-Lucent.

As TEC system expert, you shall be part of a multi-site team based in France and Romania, you shall bring your high technical expertise to perform the following activities:
- provide a high level expertise to the RTAC Engineers.
- production and validation of workaround for product common restrictions/problems.
- analysis of the Fault Reports coming from the different RTACs and initial diagnosis prior to escalation to development teams (R&D) (including preliminary root cause analysis on hardware and software).
- detailed technical investigations with the R&D on Problem Reports (PR).
- results analysis and reporting.
- organise the feedback of data by the field technicians or engineers with the aim providing needed additional information.

CERINTE

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

- Technical University degree - Telecommunication
- Unix and IP technique knowledge and experience.
- English – both written and spoken advanced.
- Previous experience in telecom R&D (especially system integration and validation teams) or field technical support experience in telecom field will be highly appreciated.
- And/or network/sytem administrator experience could be an asset.
- Characteristics as initiative, team spirit, availability and customer orientation are appreciated.
