Within the Post-sales support department of the 2G & WiMAX Business Division, the First-Off Application (FOA) team has the following missions and responsibilities:
- preparation, management and execution of the 2G and WiMAX First-Offs (FO) for the new Hardware and Software products delivered by the 2G & WiMAX,
- support to the execution and management of the Field Trial and Early Adopter projects,
- analysis at early stages (i.e. starting after the DR1) of the product operability in order to provide a feedback to the 2G and WiMAX R&D and Product Line Management teams.
As First-Off expert (Telecom or O&M) you prepare and execute a 2G or WiMAX product First-off on the internal on-air platforms and then on the customer network.You will bring your high technical expertise (Telecom or O&M) to perform the following activities:
- generic (used on the internal on-air platforms) and customer FO tests plan definition and writing working with the R&D and the customer technical teams,
- First-off tests plan rehearsal on the internal on-air platforms and First-off tests plan execution on the customer network,
- detailed technical investigations with the R&D,
- results analysis and reporting.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Technical University degree (preferable Telecommunication)
- Relevant experience related to the above requirements
- Knowledge of telecom protocols on-air interface
- Customer orientated, team spirit, analytical and synthetical person
- Available for international travel (worldwide missions)
- English written and spoken - advanced (mandatory)
