Job description :
Production and maintenance of methods and customer documentation for NPO/MS-OMC Portal. Based on system specifications and development requests, the goal of this activity is to deliver in due time and with the necessary quality the methods that allow the customer to install, reconfigure and maintain the operational NPO and MS-OMC Portal Network Elements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Analysis of system specifications and development requests·
- Creation of service procedures for installation and HW/SW upgrade of operational Network Elements·
- Testing of procedures on platform·
- Validation with validation team or cross validation inside methods team
- Maintenance after deployment on the field·
- Technical support to the customer and Alcatel-Lucent local units if demanded by Technical Assistance Center·
- Application of the following rules:
- Optimization to limit outages
- Secure operation by definition of roll-backs
- Minimize operational costs
- General knowledge of GSM recommendations and protocols·
- General knowledge of GSM equipment hardware and software architectures·
- Practical experience in Unix and IP networks·
- High degree of independence and abilities for technical analysis·
- Anticipation of customer view over the system and application of methods on real site environment·
- Ability to draft reports and technical documents·
- SW tools: EPIC (xml), Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio·
- Languages: English (read, spoken, written)- advanced level
- Professional development, access to new technologies, possibility to travel abroad
