To complete our team, based in Timisoara and support our growth in Europe, we are looking for a Team Leader for the Survey Programming team.
The Team Leader's goal is to to be a point of escalation for any operational concerns, suggestions or issues while utilizing a wide variety of tools for programming the survey related to the Online Market Research projects. This includes the overall responsibility of the survey programming team, planning, and communication with client and Project Manager. The Team Leader is also a point of liaison between the teams based in the local offices and the team in Timisoara.
Additional tasks include managing and performing activities involving project assessment, setting up training programs, performance measurements and crisis management involving internal and external clients.
Finally, the Team Leader is giving support and contributing to finding solutions in the day-to-day business in order to assure the best possible service to the client and project delivery to the company.
Key objectives:
* Manage and develop the assigned team:
- Lead and develop the team of Survey Programmers whilst inculcating the dynamic team spirit in Survey Programming department:
1. Escalation point for the team members in case of problems;
2. Mentor and coach the team;
3. Participate in defining the KPIs for each team member;
4. Participate and help in the execution of personal development plan for each team member;
5. Participates in the hiring interviews and decisions;
6. Participates in the decision of approving exceptions in the regular processes.
- Support the planning function on workload assessment, work allocation, project distribution to the team members
- Support the Associate Director for recruitment, training, planning, performance evaluation, team motivation, limiting/reducing turn over and workload balance.
* Responsible for the delivery of the projects:
- Responsible for the delivery of processes on his/her own assigned projects
- Meeting the timeline expectations while maintaining our high quality standards
- Ensuring smooth running and timely delivery of all projects originating from the respective team.
* Update and support the Associate Director:
- Keep Associate Director updated on the workload, project successes or concerns and HR issues within the team.
- Associate Director should also be kept informed via weekly report in regard to the completed assignments and efficiency.
Day to day responsibilities & tasks:
* Survey programming using ConfirmIT platform;
* Real world experience in development/programming (JavaScript);
* Able to provide tutelage and best practices to Junior Programmers efficiently;
* Define a clear Programming scope of the work, with the customer and the Project Manager;
* Define the details related to the Survey programming, like plan, time line, resource required and potential roadblock;
* Doing the programming of the Survey step by step, follow up with internal and external resource;
* Evaluate training and learning needs of the team, define the objectives and the plan to achieve the SMART objectives for each member of the team;
* Interact with customers by phone or face to face.
* Minimum 3 years of IT work experience;
* At least 1 year experience in managing team(s);
* Solid knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, XML, CSS;
* Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel;
* Time management, priorities management and problem solving skills essential;
* Team and customer oriented;
