The responsibilities of the team members:
Concept design, generation CAD model and drawings with ProE Wildfire 2/ Pro Intralink)
Interface between mechanical, hardware and layout area,
FMEA
Material choice
Tolerance calculation
Components assemble; generation BOM
Review with tool shop and manufacturing planning
Work on prototype/first sample
Documentation (CAD data, test specification, review protocols).
The team leader responsibilities:
Technical coordination of Vehicle Data Recorder and Instrument Cluster mechanical development
Ensures appropriate training of employees in order to improve their level of technical know-how.
Periodical team members evaluation
Allocates incoming work, existing resources and sets up priorities in order to meet upcoming / ongoing tasks and have balanced workload.
Supports the Project Responsible to analyse customer needs in order to provide the best possible solutions to the customer.
Manage and distribute investment for equipment acquisition in order to optimize the work environment and to deliver high quality products.
Leads research activities for new technologies/processes in order to improve the efficiency of the department and the quality of delivered products.
University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable.
Tolerance analysis / FMEA knowledge
Knowledge of plastic design, die cast, sheet metal parts
Modeling / drawing / assembly in ProE
At least 2-3 years of experience in Mechanical development
Some project management and leadership experience
Leadership skills
Initiative, communication skills
Automotive experience is an advantage
Fluent English; German is an advantage
