The open position within one of Alcatel-Lucent department is Team Assistant.
The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting in the management functions that include : procedures and work standards and provide support to department staff. The successful candidate serves as a key liaison to the head of site with the department employees and other department managers. The Team Assistant will report directly to the department manager.
Position requires occasional work after hours.
Responsabilitati:
- Produce reports, correspondence, minutes, file notes and faxes using Alcatel-Lucent format
- Arrange internal/external meetings and book rooms
- Ensure all filing systems and archive records are accurate and up-to-date
- Meet and greet clients and visitors. Setup accommodation and arrangements for company visitors
- Provide office orientation for new employees
- Answer telephones and transfer to appropriate staff member
- Sort and distribute post and send and distribute faxes
- Performs various administrative duties as required by the department manager
A self motivated person, with a strong team spirit and a “can do” attitude, eager to acquire experience in a professional environment.
Required skills and qualifications:
- University degree
- Knowledge of MS Office (World, Excel, PowerPoint)- advanced level
- English – Advanced- both written and conversational
- French – is a plus
- Good knowledge of standard office and administrative practices and procedures, including use of standard office equipment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Customer oriented
- Working experience in a similar position is a plus
