Competence Center presentation:
In WDM products development center are developed WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) transmission products on optic fibers for terrestrial long distance and submarine transoceanic transport applications.
In this environment, the System Validation Competence Center has the following missions :
1) to validate the features of the system
2) to ensure the quality of the product
3) to support the introduction of new features
4) to actively contribute to the products evolution
5) to identify / create / develop test tools
Missions and responsibilities :
- study of the developed products features
- elaborate and / or update analysis phase documentation : define test strategy, define non-regression tests campaigns (specific to release responsible)
- elaborate and / or update test sheets
- elaborate and / or update test scripts
- reviews on test sheets, test scripts
- setup test configurations
- product features validation through test performance in simulated environment and / or on equipments under test (target environment)
- fault report submission
- test and diagnostic tools usage
- elaborate and / or update customer documentation
- participate to reviews for project documentation if requested
Degrees : Computers Science / Automation, Informatics, Electronics Telecommunications or post-university specialization in the above mentioned domains
Competencies and knowledge required:
- Basic knowledge in SDH and WDM
- Software architecture for the products 162x / 1678 / 1850 -> is a plus
- Operation and maintenance of products 162x / 1678 / 1850 -> is a plus
- Standardized management protocols Q3 / TL1
- Test tools
- Informatic environment
Languages :
English – Fluent
French – is a plus
