RESPONSABILITATI

Team presentation:
In ODC development center is developed and tested software for optical transmissions equipments (WDM and Cross-Connect).
In this environment, the IT/SCM Team is responsible for ensuring the availability and day-to-day operations of the department’s technical infrastructure/computer and peripherals.

Missions and responsabilities :
-end-user technical support (1st and 2nd level support);
-user training;
-helpdesk in Windows & Unix based system, including client server environments;
-installations of new hardware & software;
-management of the hardware and software used in the development environment / network;
-management of the development network;
-configuration and management of Clearcase (the SCM used in ODC department);
-supervision and monitoring the behavior of the system, network and configuration management software (Clearcase);
-optimization of the system, network and software configuration management
-product upgrade;
-license management;
-backup/restore management;
-definition and implementation of security policies;
-software builds and deliveries.


CERINTE

Competencies and knowledges required:
-Good knowledges of operating systems (Unix/Linux and Windows)
-Knowledges of network operation
-Shell scripting
-If possible experience in IT System / Network Administration

Soft skills :
-Ability to solve problems under high pressure with tight deadlines and demanding quality objectives
-Flexible and innovative in problem solving
-Good communication and teamwork skills

Languages :
English – Fluent
French – is a plus
