Validates and approves new or changed components through application of APQP/component validation process and collaborates with affected affiliates in order to obtain functional engineering and design approval.
Manages all activities defined per project management system within customer projects in order to achieve full material or product approval until start of production. Coordinates the performance measurement and report of suppliers and ensures that lessons learned are shared with the supplier.
Verifies reported data following indicator examples but not limited to: ppm, rejections status, volumes.
Identifies improvement opportunities and continuously drives supplier development and process optimization with assigned suppliers using Supplier Quality Improvement Plans.
Monitors component/supplier performance and implements corrective actions with suppliers in collaboration with other functions.
Monitors and communicates results to suppliers and prepare internal management reporting.
Performs workshops at supplier locations and processes in order to identify potentials for efficiency improvements.
Considers defined logistic defect codes for any improvement activities with assigned suppliers.
Supports supplier profiling and risk assessments and initiates supplier action plans for improuvement.
Provides relevant risk assessment and profiling documentation as part of sourcing approval package. Performs supplier system/process audits in accordance to company standards.
Defines and followes up audit action plans and collaborates with European supplier development Lead Auditor.
Engineering degree, technical or commercial engineer.
3-5 years experience in quality management systems, auditing, project management and professional experience in automotive industry.
Ability to provide, receive and analyse information, formulate work plans, prepare written materials and articulate goals and action plans.
Strong experience in electronics field - mandatory.
English proficiency - advanced level.
