Realize inspection plans and is responsible for the quality of incoming materials;
The selected candidate must elaborate the complains regarding the supplier's activity;
Follows the corrective actions of the suppliers;
Performs on-site supplier quality audits;
Resolves supplier quality issues at incoming inspection and on the production line;
Supports projects/investigations relating to supplier quality issues and supplier corrective action request (8D) initiation and follow-up with assigned supplier base;
Facilitates resolution of internal/external material quality issues by participating in root cause analysis and by working with suppliers to monitor corrective actions;
Provides information to suppliers and internal organizations through written and oral presentations/reports;
Assists in supplier development/improvement projects;
Reports on supplier performance via routine, defined metrics;
May supervise incoming inspectors.
Technical University degree (Industrial Chemistry is preffered);
Significant quality experience in automotive field as supplier quality assurance engineer;
Advanced PC Knowledge (Excel, Access, Word);
Knowledge of SPC data, 8D, 5Why;
English language - advanced level;
German language is an advantage;
Good team player with positive “can do” attitude.
