Job description
- Manage and optimise global supplier base, using KPIs such and Quality, Delivery, Payment Days, Deflation etc
- Identify and evaluate new suppliers, RFI, RFP
- Issue and negotiate Supply Contracts and commercial conditions, in collaboration with Central team
- Interface with R&D to support supplier selection at design stage
- Streamline logistics process to ensure maximum flexibility and minimum lead-time
- Minimize total material costs, through effective Supplier Management
- Develop and maintain Procurement Processes in line with Elster Group Standards and SOX requirements
- Interface and support Planning and Manufacturing team
Job requirements
- Min 5 years experience within Procurement
- Proficiency in English language
- Willingness to travel abroad up to 25% of the working time
- Driver license B
- Experience of LCR Sourcing (Low-cost regions sourcing)
- Experience of Electronics Market preferred
- It would be a plus if having Professional Purchasing Qualification MCIPS (Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply) or equivalent
