To develop and implement sourcing process in the region, and to assist in the development of a network of best practice global suppliers for the range of sourcing agreements
We are looking for a person who will be responsible for analysis of the market situation, identifying potential new suppliers on the market, analysis of supplier manufacturing costs and providing Sourcing Committees with the suggestions regarding potential opportunities
Will be Timisoara based and have regional responsibilities, travel will be frequent and of extended duration, up to 40% of the time
Principal Accountabilities:
-Analysis of the current and future requirements of TRW OSS Europe commodities and Product Lines regarding Eastern Europe sourcing, and benchmark these
-Analysis of the market situation and opportunities in the assigned region
-Identify suitable suppliers, and in particular develop those in the assigned region
-Measure and report Eastern Europe region advantage in the various commodities and product lines within TRW OSS Europe
Educated to diploma/degree level preferably in an engineering/technology or business commercial subject
Thorough knowledge of business and financial matters
Strong focus on teamwork and possess superior problem solving, financial and analytical skills
Ability to lead cross-functional work teams towards common goals and providing strategic guidance to senior management on forward initiatives
Demonstrate a solid grasp of business concepts, realistic judgement and quantitative and critical thinking skills
Strong results orientation and drive, high degree of creativity and independent thinking, excellent interpersonal and strong facilitation and coaching skills
Presentation skills, written and oral, are critical for documenting and communicating the strategy throughout the organization
