Fulltime Software Tester positions are available.
Growth opportunities
• Use the latest and greatest testing tools;
• Participate in research about new testing tools;
• Learn to write automated tests for client/server and cloud based applications;
• Work in a fast paced, team based, Agile (Scrum) environment.
Responsibilities
• Develop and publish test plans;
• Write Automated Tests using Selenium, Fest, and other tools for features as they are developed;
• Write manual tests for non-automated features;
• Test for security of web based services;
• Work with developers to load test services using Jmeter and LoadRunner;
• Work closely with Software Development Engineers, Designers, DBA’s, Product Managers and Project Managers in understanding the requirements and testability of those requirements;
• Write detailed bug reports and follow them through the tracking process;
• Report problems found during testing;
• Verify fixed bugs;
• Review code;
• Maintain a weekly status report to review with QA Manager;
• Work on all aspects of product development as a member of an Agile team.
Required skills & knowledge
• Bachelors in computer science or equivalent experience;
• Well versed in windows and mac operating systems (Windows XP, Windows 7, Mac);
• Java programming skills.
Preferred skills & knowledge
• Experience writing and executing test plans and test cases for applications;
• Automated testing experience using at least one of the following: Fest, Selenium, Jmeter, LoadRunner, Junit;
• Experience with performance and load testing web based or client server applications.
• Experience using Maven, Subversion;
• Experience with the following applications: Jira, Eclipse.
