Team presentation :
Inside optical research and development center WDM SWIT team is taking part in the conception and maintenance phase of the WDM optical transmission products, for the terrestrial and submarine long haul transport applications.
Inside this environment, the main missions of Software Integration Test Team are :
1)Test Integrated Software developments and their behavior in HW environment, taking into account the specifications and client requirements
2)Assure deliverables to internal customers, after test
3)Ensure quality on the deliverable package
Responsibilities:
- Take part in the customer requirement documentation reviews
- Establish and apply a test strategy on products for specific customers
- Prepare test plan and test automatization, on real and simulated environment
- Evaluate effort on different features to be tested
- Perform manual and automatic tests on the product in an integrated environment (hardware-software-optical)
- Identify, write and track fault reports for the tested features
- Verify correction packages for completeness and consistency
- Perform regression tests on the reported solutions
- Ensure the quality of the product to be delivered to customers
- Create deliverables for other development phases (internal customers)
- Take part in customer documentation elaboration phase
- Write and update test scripts for a range of tools used in this phase
- Work and interact with international teams, on worldwide distributed projects
- Generate requirements and configurations for new test tools needed
Requirements:
-Apply work methodology in conformity with the Quality Management System applied on each project
-Report towards team management and project management
-Ensure technical assistance for other teams
-Ensure metrological data
-Interact with team members and with other’s teams members, involved on the same projects, at international level
-Ensure on a regular basis the knowledge of your specific job

Windows, Linux, Unix
Knowledge/Technologies :
Protocols ITU-T SDH (G.707), OTH (G.709) , Ethernet (IEEE802.3, 802.1) and telecom management interfaces (Q3, SNMP, TL1)
Foreign Languages :
English (good level), French (nice to have)
