The Alcatel Mobile Kiosk Service (MKS) is a turnkey service delivery solution that enables mobile service providers (MSP) to create an ecosystem of user-centric mobile services for end users.
Operated, maintained and hosted by Alcatel in an application service provider (ASP) mode, the technical infrastructure lets operators build rich multimedia service offerings and open their networks to thousands of content providers, enterprises and communities, thus creating a true mobile kiosk. Instead of being restricted to offering 10’s of services due to the management overhead, with Mobile Kiosk, 100’s of services can be enabled.
Within the development team, you will participate in the development process of the Alcatel Mobile Kiosk framework and projects, with focus mainly on server side Java development.
THE JOB IS AVAILABLE IN TIMISOARA.
- University degree in Computer Science/Informatics.
- 3+ years experience with Object Oriented Programming and Software Design (UML).
- 2+ years experience with Java J2SE
- Good knowledge of: XML, XSL, JSP, Linux environment.
- 2+ years experience with Java J2EE (JMX, JMS, JDBC, JNDI) would be an advantage
- Optional: Good knowledge of: Tomcat, Ant, CVS, JavaScript.
- Optional: JUnit, WebServices, SOAP, Hibernate, JBoss, Apache, Relational database administration, scripting languages.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Ability to work in an international, distributed team environment, to communicate and share knowledge.
