Develop concepts for future customer products in concordance to AUTOSAR and Functional Safety (ISO 26262) requirements;
Support in RfQ (Request of Quotation) phases in term of feasibility, technical aspects for products and process;
Evaluate Hardware / Software concept characteristics in concordance with real – time requirements;
Evaluate / use Software tools for MIL, SIL, HIL related design and development;
Contribute and support multi-site Pre-Development projects;
Design, implement and test Software modules in concordance with internal standards and requirements;
Provides support and guidance in finding technical solutions for development.
We are looking for:
Engineering Diploma in field of Computer Science or Mechatronics
3 years of experience in field of hard real- time embedded programming (ANSI C)
Automotive backgound is a must
Preferable: AUTOSAR knowledge
Preferable: Hard Real Time Operating Systems knowledge (i.e. OSEK/VDX; AUTOSAR OS)
Preferable: Matlab/ Simulink (or equivalent signal processing tool) knowledge
Programming knowledge in VHDL or Verilog (for FPGAs) is a plus
German language is a plus
Open minded
Ready for challenges and changes / proactive / good problem solver / self learning
Hard worker / passionate for technology
The person shall have multidisciplinary knowledge, beginning with hardware to software; Mechanics is a plus;
Academic background could be an advantage.

In 2006 we expanded our company creating a development centre in Timisoara, which is a part of Autoliv Electronics Europe, an operational entity of Autoliv Electronics, serving the European market with development and manufacturing of airbags control units and sensors, Telematics and Active Safety products, for automotive.
Starting with 2007 we increased our business in Romania with Textile Division in Lugoj which in this moment has more that 1000 employees.
and from 2008 we started Airbag Module Division and our main customer it is Audi.
