Team: MTCP competence center
Presentation of the group / team :
WDM R&D SW development group is responsible for the development and maintenance of the software components of the WDM optical transmission products. These equipments are used for long distance terrestrial and submarine data transport applications.
In this environment, the MTCP competence center is responsible (for the software modules it represents) of:
1) Participates and contributes to the design and specification phase of the project
2) Develops the software using the assigned development platform(s) and respecting the group procedures / methods
3) Verifies, integrates and delivers the owned software
4) Maintains the previous deliveries of the team
5) Actively contributes to the continuous improvement of development platform(s) and of the working methods and procedures
6) Continuously tries to improve its technical skills and abilities concerning the MTCP activities
Required knowledge / technologies :
- MS (XP, Vista), UNIX (Solaris), LINUX (Red Hat)
- C, C++, scripting (Linux)
- Good knowledge of ITU-T SDH (G.707), OTH (G.709) , Ethernet (IEEE802.3, 802.1) protocols and experience with telecom equipment administation interfaces(Q3, SNMP, TL1)
Preferred work experience :
Experience in development of WDM systems, experience as SW engineer in multinational company, experience in telecom domain.
Foreign languages :
English, French
