In this job you will have to:
• Design and model multi-layer architectures mainly in J2EE/JEE environment and implement them with professional tools and methods in order to develop customer oriented web-based software solutions.
• Analysis and selection of Java components.
• Work as part of a professional team within international online projects.
• Accompany all project phases and ensure their technical realization.
• Communicate with the technical contacts of the customer.
• With high demands on quality of your work you ensure good results in projects and share your knowledge through continuous training within your team.
You are an ideal candidate if:
• You have a computer science university degree or equivalent
• You have several years of experience in Java Web development
• You have proven project experience and knowhow in methods of Internet-based software development.
• You have at least 6 months of experience with Liferay Portal Server
• You are familiar with Java Web development, such as J2SE Servlet Engines like Tomcat (JSP, Servlets) and source code management (e.g. SVN, CVS)
• You have well-founded knowhow in object-oriented analysis and modeling and master perfectly programming languages and architectures such as Java/JSP/Servlets/J2EE/JEE, (X) HTML/ CSS, JavaScript and AJAX
• In addition to your initial experience in the field of Internet portals and content management systems like OpenCms, another backend technology (e.g. dotNet or PHP) completes your profile
• You have experience in using current development tools such as Ant, Maven and Hudson and development environments such as Eclipse or Intelli J and APIs (e.g.: JSTL/Taglibs, EJBs, JDBC)
• Knowledge of Java Enterprise Development e.g. with JEE Application Servers JBoss, Glassfish, BEA Weblogic and IBM Websphere (EJB, MQ) as well as JEE IDE's (Eclipse)
• You have knowledge in programming of Web Services (SOAP, JSON, and Soap)
• You have knowledge about the operating systems Linux, Windows and MacOS and can manage databases such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL
• Ideally you are familiar with the use of Java frameworks, such as Hibernate, Struts, Velocity, JUnit, Spring MVC, JavaServer Faces, Seam, JPA with the AJAX framework and jQuery, Dojo.
• You already had contact with methods like UML, MDA, OOA / OOD and the agile methodologies Scrum and Kanban
• You interact with team spirit and high communication skills
• You are able to work well under pressure and are flexible and constructive when it comes to change requests from customers
• You know English very good (German skills are a plus), you bring a high degree of motivation, commitment, and flexibility to complete your profile
• You see further training and development as self-evident
• You are familiar with the requirements and processes from areas such as Marketing, Communication and Agencies and are acquainted with interactive- and multimedia solutions and other web-based applications.
