For our new Production Location Timisoara we search for dynamic and motivated people to join our Production Plant Service Test Engineering Department.
We provide the automotive industry with a wide range of electronic equipment designed and produced in Timisoara, innovative components and comprehensive system in the field of restraint systems and information systems (instruments clusters and central displays).
As an software development engineer your responsibilities will be:
Development of software modules for testing printed circuit boards in all SV products
Generation of user interfaces and tools for production with Windows
Documentation, implementation and testing of the developed software
Development of generic solutions for reusing the developed software in other projects
Support/ consultation for test engineers even in other Siemens locations
Elaboration of training material, training-organization and –management
A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.
University Degree (i.e. Electronics, Computer Science, Physics, Informatics)
C++ programming or experience in high level programming
Ideally some system testing experience
Knowledge of Electronics, Mechanics (advantage)
English knowlegde
