Responsibilities:
•Develop and/or modify documents analysis: specifications for definition / execution, etc.
•Develop and/or modify the source modules (phase code)
•Code verification created or modified by unitary tests.
•Testing features introduced or modified (test phase) by developing or modify functional tests, the test scripts, passing tests in simulated environment and/or real test equipment, correcting code in order to eliminate non-compliance, corrected code verification.
•Developing and/or changing customer documentation.
•Proactive flagging incidents to more experienced technical staff when needed
•Accurate and timely hand off to other resolving teams
•Perform research on various technologies useful for the project
•Provide status and feedback to management
Requirements:
General skills:
•University degree in related fields: Informatics, Computer Science
•Flexibility, strong work ethics and ability to work in a multinational environment.
•Excellent English and/or French language skills both verbal and written.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Technical skills:
•At least two years of experience in C++ programming under Unix and Windows
•Good Java programming language knowledge.
•Familiarity with Microsoft development tools: MKS Toolkit, MVS .NET .
•Proficient in modern C++ development techniques.
•Very good abilities to analyze, profile and optimize code for performance and memory usage.
•Strong debugging and bug-fixing skills.
•Excellent knowledge of design patterns.
