Position:
Part of a team who maintains/develops a VBA MS-Access project (linked tables to an SQL Server).Will be also required to use MS SQL Server 2000 (databases restore, tables/views/sprocs).
There are several projects on the role now : a part on VBA and the other on .NET.In the future, the VBA applications will be migrated to .NET; still, the maintenance will be required.
Our ideal candidate should:
- Ideally, have experience in a similar position >1 year
- Want to learn abou/work with new technologies (for example .NET 2)
- Very good VBA programmer with (desire to learn)/knowledge of .NET
- Have good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
Qualifications and Education:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or similar;
- Excellent written and verbal English;
- Strong work ethics;
- Team player.
Requirements:
- Experience and very good knowledge of VBA (MS Access, Excel);
- Good knowledge of working with MS SQL Server 2000 (tables,views,triggers, sprocs, SQL/T-SQL)
- Ability to use Visio
- Are also consider, but not required, in this order, knowledge of Microsoft .Net framework (Web forms/Windows forms), HTML,CSS,Javascript
