Pre-Development (being used as synonym for Research & Development) activities define the first steps in the process of creating / defining new innovative concepts for products. The activities related to this domain are multidisciplinary, covering Passive Safety (i.e. AirBag control units) or Active Safety (i.e. ADAS).
As a SW Architect(within Pre Development projects) you would have to:
1. Develop concepts for future customer products in concordance to AUTOSAR and Functional Safety (ISO 26262) requirements;
2. Provide support in RFQ (Request for Quotation) phases in term of feasibility, technical aspects for products and process;
3. Evaluate Hardware / Software concept characteristics (for 16-bit & 32-bit microcontrollers) in concordance with real – time requirements;
4. Evaluate / use Software tools for MIL, SIL, HIL related design and development;
5. Provide support and guidance in finding technical solutions for development;
6. Contribute and support multi-site Pre-Development projects;
7. Design & implement & debug embedded software modules (ANSI C language) in concordance with internal standards and requirements;
You would work in a multi-national environment and have the opportunity to work together with sites like Germany, Sweden, France, USA.
We are searching for an experienced SW Integrator who can address challenges from complex platforms with AUTOSAR, including FlexRay / CAN / LIN- interfaces, customer Black-Box software and Functional Safety (ISO26262) elements.
Automotive background is a must, minimum 3 years of experience.
Required skills:
1.Mastery ANSI C language programming skills, good understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms and embedded design;
2.Solid microcontrollers architecture knowledge (Hardware / Software);
3.Good understanding of AUTOSAR SW architecture / modules / OS / OSEK VDX and communication protocols (LIN, CAN, FlexRay);
4.Willing to travel and open for being customer interface in technical topics;
5.Flexible person who can manage several development tasks in parallel;
6.Knowledge in scripting languages (Perl, Python) / XML processing / Matlab/ Simulink (or equivalent signal processing tool) is a plus;
7.Functional Safety (ISO 26262) knowledge is a plus;
8.German knowledge is a plus.
