RESPONSABILITATI

Perform and support the design, development and operation of a quality management (control) system
Prepare, analyze and apply testing and inspection procedures and test cases for product/process
Establish, measure and report appropriate QA controls and metrics for product reliability and process performance (including at key suppliers)
Use statistical methods to diagnose and correct improper quality control practices
Identify, measure and report quality cost, mastering the quality cost concepts and techniques
Perform the audit of products/processes/ quality management system, within the organization or at suppliers, having a basic understanding of the audit process, including types of audits, planning, preparation, execution, reporting results and follow-up
Establish appropriate supplier metrics, evaluate suppliers' performance, and establish plan to supplier development/improvement
Identify product and process optimization possibilities (e.g. cost-reduction, production time optimization), initiate corrective and preventive actions and propose improvements
Apply problem-solving and quality improvement tools and techniques, including management and planning tools, quality tools
Perform quality inspections of incoming parts/subassemblies/products
Prepare and release quality documents (declaration of conformity/warranty certificate) that accompany Elster products
Lead and participate in design, process and system FMEA
Identify, develop and provide needed QA training for operations staff
Work in cross BU improvement projects
Develop needed QA controls and metrics for product ramp up (new development, internal and external transfers)
Support external certification auditors (ISO 9001,MID) and customer visits and audits, and address respective outcoming actions
Act to ensure compliance with the legal (national and international) and statutory (Elster Group) product and organization requirements


CERINTE

Studies:
-Studies and university degree in Engineering (min 4 years), Electronics & telecommunications, Computer science & Automation, Electrical engineering
-Knowledge of metering technology, standards and quality requirements is useful
Training :
-Training in the quality management systems ISO 9000 standards family,
-Certified training in the quality/environmental management systems internal audit (ISO 19011)
-Training in the use of the 7 classical quality instruments, would be preferable
-Training in the use of the modern methods of Lean manufacturing, SixSigma, would be preferable
-Training in the IPC-A-610 E/class 2 standard "Acceptance requirements for the manufacture of electrical and electronic assemblies", would be preferable


Abilities :


-Abilities of speaking, reading, writing in English as an experimented user (Cambridge certification FCE, CAE, would be preferable)
-Abilities of using, at an advanced level, the MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
-Abilities to communicate for presenting quality related information to management or other audiences of people, employees, customers, or external auditors from the certification/legal bodies, or from the customers
-Abilities to work in a team
-Analytical thinking
-Problem solving abilities
-Driving license, category B, would be preferable


Experience :


-General experience in the field of the application of the ISO 9000 standards family to design, develop, implement, audit, have certified, maintain, improve a quality management system within an organization
-Minimum 3 years of on-the-job experience in the field of the quality management, within an electrical/electronic equipment manufacturing organization with a quality management system implemented and certified, of which at least 1 year experience in a decision-making position, defined as having the authority to define, execute, or control projects/processes and to be responsible for the outcome. This may or may not include management or supervisory positions
-Experience in the use of the classical quality tools (flow-chart, cause and effect diagram, check-list, control charts, histograms, Pareto diagram, scatter-diagram), would be preferable
-Experience in the application of quality improvement tools (e.g. 6 sigma, FMEA, Lean Manufacturing, 8D), would be preferable
