Main duties include: Manage the Project Leaders Team to facilitate new project to meet the timing, quality and cost targets. Drives Profit&Loss activities in order to continuously reduce cost & satisfy the customer expectation. Protect/Level Plant activities by driving and leading Engineering/Customer Changes as well as Capacity&Layout Planning. Drives continuous improvement of Project Leaders/Managers activities.
- Recruit, train and develop Project Leaders team to meet the company needs
- Lead and/or support the development/administration of policies and procedures for Project Leaders/Managers in accordance with ISO TS and PDP requirements
- Initiates, monitors and directs projects and programs from project nomination through delivery (6 month after SOP)
- Develops and ensures adherence to project and program budgets
- Organizes project-related activities and communications among departments, customers, vendors and the community
- Participates with other Managers in establishing strategic organizational plans and objectives
- Directs the activities of Project Leaders and is responsible for planning, budgeting, and maintaining costs for a broad functional area
- Interacts regularly with executives, segment leaders, other Plants and customers
- Drives strategies to deliver customer requirements and recommend MCM capabilities in manufacturing and engineering services
- Reviews all project proposals or plan to determine time frame, funding requirements, asset management, procedures for accomplishing program, staffing requirements and allocation of available resources to various phases of program
- High level contact for negotiations with segments, plants or customers on timing, pricing and other business items. Maybe primary contact for new or critical programs
- Reviews high-level project reports and presentations for management, customers and others
- Participates in Profit and Loss (P&L) analysis, responsible for tracking relevant metrics and drive action items based on results
- Drives RFQ (MSP) response package at Plant Level
- Part of the PAC and PRC meeting for new business and existing projects review
- Responsible to drive the process for correct capacity and layout implementation
- Drive and lead the implementation of Engineering/Customer Changes in an manner that creates at less disruption as possible in the Plant activity
- Communicate and feedback any information which will enable the organization to improve itself
- Undertake job with positive attitude, dedication and enthusiasm
- Travel as required
- Technical University
- This person must be professional in Project Management requirements and be able to functionaly lead such a department
- At least 2 years as Project Management Manager
- Experience/knowledge in assembly and IMM Production
- German Language is an advantage
- Strong team player
- Demonstrable skills in leading project based activities
- Strong understanding of production, project management and cost
- Should have knowledge of Japanese manufacturing concepts
