For our Engineering Location Timisoaraa we search for dynamic and motivated people to join our Information and Organization Enterprise Application (IO CW AS) department.
As part of the internal software house of Siemens VDO Automotive we develop professional web and client-server solutions for the use of our internal customers (divisions and corporate functions around the world). We develop solutions for a wide range of business areas (e.g. project management, customer relationship, workflow, manufacturing, business administration etc).
As a developer you are going to work in small teams to elicit customer requirements, perform application design, implementation and unit test according to the group's standardized development processes. You are also going to be involved in technical research undertaken by our group with the aim of creating re-usable components, discovering new technologies to increase the productivity.
The opportunity will enable you to utilize and expand your existing development skills. You must be motivated and dedicated, have a good command of the English language, be able to work in an international organization, and communicate with non-technical people in a clear and concise way.
A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.
University degree in a relevant field;
Minimum 1 years experience in developing Enterprise Solutions using client-server or web technology
Good knowledge of OOP language (OOA/D knowledge is an advantage)
Advanced knowledge and a solid experience in at least 2 of the following areas is a prerequisite: Oracle/MS SQL Server; Microsoft .NET Framework, C# / Java; Web Technologies (ASP.NET or Java); XML related technologies, Web Services
