We are searching for our client based in Timisoara a Senior Java developer that is looking for new software development challenges and eager to use his knowledge at top notch software products. You will have a mentoring role in the team, involved with researching new technologies, be responsible with architecture reviews, be involved with architectural decisions, planning and implementation ensuring high quality deliverables.
Desired skills:
• Several years of experience in delivering professional JEE projects,
• Strong Object Oriented Programming skills and knowledge of usual JEE design patterns,
• Experience with distributed computing and storage architectures,
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Agile processes,
• Strong analytic skills and problem solving capabilities,
• Excellent Java SE 1.5+ skills,
• JEE API experience (Servlets, JAX-RS, JAX-WS, JPA, JTA, CDI, JMS, etc),
• Experience with Web Services (REST),
• Knowledge in handling SQL/NoSQL databases,
• Experience with unit testing frameworks and build tools (Maven),
• Experience with web-development frameworks (JSF 2.0, Wicket),
• Familiarity with Solr, Hadoop is a plus,
• Familiarity with JBoss (AS 7.0 or EAP 6.0) or other application servers is a plus,
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, jQuery, Ajax and JSON/XML,
• Basic Linux and network knowledge is an advantage,
• Good English written and verbal skills,
• Independent, highly communicative working style, combined with a fast uptake and quality-consciousness.
