From this position, You will be offering remote 2nd and 3rd level support for SAN environment.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will consists in:
• Performing a defined System Administration and support tasks necessary to maintain backups and systems at optimum working level
• Maintenance of SAN environment at the appropriate operating system levels in order to maximize systems security availability and reliability.
• Management of Storage environments in accordance with defined Service Levels
• Performing different pro-active and preemptive tasks regarding backup maintenance and storage provisioning.
Our successful candidate should have the following abilities & know how:
- Proficient in Business English
- Experience with Windows/Linux operating systems
- Experience with backup solutions – Tivoli Storage Manager 5.5 or higher
- Experience with Midrange and High End Disk Storage and Tape Library in an SAN environment
- Knowledge of HP Storage equipments is a plus
- Experience with Cisco fiber channel switches
- Availability to travel abroad for training on the job
- Availability for flexible working hours and on call duty
- Team skills, results and quality orientation, customer focus, ability to learn, good organizing skills
- Understanding of ITIL Service Delivery and Support disciplines and methodologies is a plus
