We are looking for a very intelligent individual who likes challenging work to architect, design and develop world class robotics control software to provide sound solutions for very complex problems for customers in high tech industry. This individual will evaluate, integrate, and implement communication protocols, and IO controls in the robotic automation industry.
Strong C# skills with multi-threaded control system, TCP/IP and RS232 communication. Experience with MS Visual Studio, .NET Framework, OOD/OOP/UML.
Knowledge of design patterns and associated principles
Excellent debugging, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
3+ years of object oriented development experience in software design and programming of machine control systems for industrial applications and experience with project technical leadership responsibilities
Degree in computer science, informatics or related
Good written and spoken English language skills
Good to have:
Safety compliance experience is a plus
Controller Area Network (CAN), EtherCAT, C/C++, experience is a plus
Some knowledge and experience with Fieldbus, preferably Modbus TCP
Software performance optimization experience is a plus
