We are seeking highly motivated, energetic individuals with a 'can do' attitude who are looking for new challenges to broaden their horizons in our Pre-Sales Mobile Design department.
As a member of this dynamic team, you will be responsible for the following:
- Technologies involved: GSM, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, TDD, CDMA2000
- Mastering radio dimensioning techniques using Radio Frecquency (RF) planning tools and geographical analysis;
- Close cooperation with worldwide Alcatel Tendering teams;
- Technical and economical analysis for business cases and offer solutions;
- Performing technical presentations for the customer.
As a member of the Radio Network Planning group, you will work with our customers, our wireless engineering team, and other internal and external groups to deliver the best-in-class wireless network solutions.
THE JOB IS AVAILABLE IN TIMISOARA.
The successful candidate will have the following
qualifications:
- Technical University degree (preferable Telecommunication)
- 2 years of relevant experience, which will include Cellular Network Planning, RF Engineering, RF equipment and RF network design principles, RF repeaters, and link budgets.
- Strong team player, good leadership and organizational skills.
- Ready to work in a pre-sales environment with very high demand on reactivity, customer orientation and dedication
- Available for international travel
- English written and spoken - advanced (mandatory)
- Ability to present himself/herself as a technical consultant based on customer relationship and technical knowledge
- Willingness to learn new technologies, accept challenges that push the envelope… and to have fun doing it!
