· Determine members of cross-functional quote teams, who are responsible for preparing customized proposals for customers
· Lead cross-functional quote team from project kick-off to submission to customer
· Coordinate all cross-functional quote activities
· Develop and manage a project plan to ensure deadlines are met
· Work closely with Sales leaders to customize proposals
· Coordinates various pieces of the quotation to ensure that data is reviewed for consistency, accuracy, and that the quote meets minimum guidelines. For quotes both inside and outside of guidelines, the QL ensures that the quote is routed through the appropriate approval process
· Provide quote assessment for approval and review
· Interface with site operations, finance, engineering, marketing and other functions to develop proposals with the greatest value to both customer and Solectron
· Set up the proposal and present it to the management
· Bachelor' s Degree or equivalent required; Masters degree preferred
· High degree of leadership skills required; direct management experience preferred
· At least 4+ years of business experience; previous experience working in a global corporation preferred
· Experience in writing sales proposals preferred
· Excellent business writing skills and organizational skills required
· Ability to meet deadlines; project management experience and certification a plus
· Must work well both independently and as part of a cross-functional matrix team
