- Consults with customers to analyze and understand the functions that need to be automated, the customer needs and objectives;
- Analyses, defines and gathers evidence for the system’s needs and data flow production, the production process, hardware system and operating system, interface with other systems, internal and external controls and checking;
- Writes and maintains technical and functional specifications, plans and specifications turn in code;
- Analyses and considers the feasibility, costs, time, compatibility with other systems and compatibility with other computers;
- Develops and supports plans and schedules for the development, testing and installation of applications;
- Examines and evaluates programs and systems that help in programming or are used as a platform for programming;
- Draws up and runs the interface with users, runs reports and interfaces with other systems;
- Creates test environments and tests to detect errors and confirm that the program is under the specifications;
- Analyses codes to discover the cause of errors and recences programs;
- Consults with customers on the prototype, improves, tests and removes deficiencies to obtain customer approval;
- Writes and maintains documentation describing the program development, the logic code, testing, changes and correction;
- Writes or reviews already written documentation describing how to install and operating procedure;
- Provides technical assistance in response to questions related to errors or problems with the program;
- Trains the users or technical support regarding the use of the program;
- Program performance survey after implementation;
- Plans and prepares technical reports, memoranda and technical manuals as documentation;
- Improves the system and corrects errors to support the system after implementation;
- Values time and costs for the conclusion of the project.
Qualification:
- Technical University degree (automation, computers, computer science, electronics, telecommunications);
- Microsoft, Oracle certifications, in the area of interest.
Experience:
- Minimum three years experience in support (hardware / software);
- More than two years in software development.
Knowledge, skills & abilities:
- Client-server architecture knowledge;
- The ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures or documents;
- The ability to interpret a large variety of mathematical instructions or diagrams and to compare them with concrete or abstract variables;
- The ability to effectively identify the source of problems and possible solutions to improve;
- Analysis and synthesis capacity, communication, team spirit;
- Customer orientation;
- English Language - advanced level.
