RESPONSABILITATI

Role:

The Professional Development Manager is responsible for conceiving of, designing, delivering and testing the effectiveness of ongoing training programs for all departments within Lingo24, including departmental and senior managers.

This will, of course, be done jointly with departmental managers, senior managers and, in some cases, external trainers. The purpose of the program is:
a) to ensure Lingo24 staff worldwide are the best in the translation business at whatever they do, and have a broader skill base than their peers
b) to make Lingo24 staff feel they are developing professionally (and that they actually are developing) and give the company a good reputation for training
The Professional Development Manager should also work with HR Manager and Marketing Co-Ordinator to promote our training program as a key benefit to joining the company.

Specific tasks:

1. Formulation of program for every individual in company (mainly department-focused, but perhaps 20% of training time could be flexible)
2. Sourcing/creation of materials, which includes range of tests to verify training has benefited company
3. Delivery of training
4. Testing


CERINTE

Key skills and characteristics

- must have at least two years’ experience in a training and HR environment
- must be creative, personable and able to engage people
- must speak and write excellent English, and have good computer skills
- thoroughness will be the key!
