- He/she ensures the creation and maintenance of purchase orders in line with the local unit needs.
- This occurs in cooperation with the local unit and with internal and external suppliers.
- He/she may take autonomous decisions for alternative solutions within the agreed .
- Check the requisitions approved by the local unit for completion to order to the supplier according well defined rules provided by the local unit.
- Communicate with the local unit people for solving issues on requests.
- Placing purchase orders in line with the requests.
- Negotiate with the supplier within strict defined rules
- Following up, canceling, postponing and speeding up orders.
- Contacting suppliers and ask for quotations and order confirmation.
- Send purchase orders to suppliers.
- Solve invoice discrepancies in agreement with the local unit.
- High school / University degree
- General technical knowledge
- Knowledge of the supplier's organization
- Knowledge of logistics procurement techniques (terms and conditions related to transport, payment conditions, customs & excise,…)
- Ability to work in cross-functional team, strong collaboration presence
- Good communication skills, enjoy contact with people
- Be customer and results oriented, determined
- Fluency in Spanish and English
- SAP procurement knowledge
- Internet usage
- Used to work with web applications
