- Implements and maintains the Inventory structure according to the specifications.
- Participates in each engineering change (smoothly phase out and phase in).
- Analyzes and avoids E&O materials based on specifications.
- Implements and follows the DMS procedures.
- Assures proper communication within PC&L and with the other departments.
- Prepares and develops the value steams.
- Implements the Kanban and JIT System, Pull System, Pay on Use.
- Assures the avoiding of the premium shipments.
Implements the Lean concepts and controls the inbound and outbound traffic.
- Supports LSS in new bidding processes.
- Participates to and creates the production orders for Intergraded Suppliers.
- Prepares shipping schedule for traffic department.
- Actively participates in Material Costs Reduction processes.
- Follows internal procedures in Delphi Automotive Systems.
- Performs costs recovery follow up (overtime payment by customer, premium transport).
- Coordinates the making of the capacity studies to predict customer variation and communicates this accordingly.
- Analyzes the production plans from the manufacturing and of the forecast from the customers. Prepares measures plans accordingly.
- Assures the daily contact with suppliers to provide the parts in the right quantity at the right time.
- Coordinates the preparing and analyzing of the vendor schedules for the suppliers.
- Assures the preparing of the ABC analysis.
- Technical University degree
- at least 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Logistics, Transport, Customs and Planning Specialist knowledge
- Excellent MicrosoftOffice computer skills
- English advanced (German would be a plus)
- Management & organizational skills
- Ability to take decisions under time presure, self-motivated
- Experience and knowledge deployment
- Team worker, focused on internal and external customer
- Knowledge about ERP systems (AS 400 or SAP R/3)
