RESPONSABILITATI

Developing optical geometries;
Calculating and defining difficult optical geometries, e.g. rear lamp components, for series development and preliminary development close to series production, using photometric simulations, evaluating and forwarding the results to Technical Design and/or to other internal and external positions and deriving any design measures that may be necessary;
Involvement in the new or advanced development or reflector technologies in cooperation with those responsible;
Arranging and/or involvement in the preparation of light samples, photometric components and prototypes in agreement with the superior and the posts involved;
Drawing up photometric requirements and specifications in agreement with those affected;
Building up complex trial set-ups, if necessary adapting existing trial and testing equipment;
Carrying out or arranging extensive photometric investigations, following selection of the suitable methods and processes, recording, checking and presenting the results;
Analyzing and interpreting the results on the basis of the values required. If necessary, determining the causes of faults and suggesting possible solutions in cooperation with those involved.


CERINTE

You should know:
CAD-Design (Catia V5);
Basics in Lighting technology;
Basics in optics design;
Mechanical, Electronics or Physics Engineer.

You should be:

Self confident, very organised, able to meet deadlines and to take initiative;
Quality conscience, enjoy mechanical challenges and like to work on a wide range of projects.
