Major tasks
• Specification of features for Alcatel-Lucent Network Planning and Optimization Tools
• Transforming user specifications in detailed development specifications
• Validate new tool versions of Alcatel Network Planning and Optimization Tools
• Communicate with tool users to understand the needs and develop ideas of future features
• Give support for Alcatel Network Planning and Optimization Tool users onsite and remote
• Organize support activities and track performance and quality of them
• Understand the technology behind (GSM, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, WiMAX, …)
• Evaluate new technologies (like WiMAX) and translate the requirements in terms of planning into tool features
• Evaluate new tools from 3-rd party providers or internal Alcatel
• Participate in first off campaigns onsite
• Perform trainings on tool usage
THE JOB IS AVAILABLE IN TIMISOARA.
• Electronics & Telecommunications Faculty, Automations & Computers Faculty or Computer Science Faculty degree
• Good Knowledge in Mobile Communications technologies
• English – advanced level
• Willingness to travel abroad on demand
• Ability to give commitments and take responsibility
• MS Office Applications (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Be innovative and flexible
• Ready to work in a highly dynamical environment
• Computer skills like
• .NET Software development platform
• C, C++, C#, Java, …
• Databases (SQL, Oracle, …)
is a plus
• Project management skills is a plus
